Try these fixes:

1. Check your URL format: https://yoursite.com (no trailing slash!)

2. Make sure you're using your WordPress username, not email

3. Generate a new application password in WordPress

4. Test if your API works: visit https://yoursite.com/wp-json/

Application passwords are special passwords that let apps connect to WordPress safely.

They're different from your main password - you can create multiple ones and revoke them anytime!

Yes! If you've published a note before, the plugin remembers it.

Just open the note, click publish, and you'll see "Update" instead of "Publish".

Yes! Standard Markdown converts perfectly:

Images in your notes are automatically uploaded to WordPress!

Tips for best results:

• Keep files under 2MB

• Use JPG, PNG, or GIF format

• Use descriptive file names

Your username or password is wrong.

✅ Double-check your username spelling

✅ Generate a new application password

✅ Copy the password exactly (spaces are OK)

You don't have permission to publish.

✅ Check your WordPress role (need Author or higher)

✅ Ask your site admin for publishing permissions

The REST API might be disabled on your site.

✅ Check with your hosting provider

✅ Disable security plugins temporarily to test

✅ Visit https://yoursite.com/wp-json/ to check
